Robertson and Sons Violin Shop, the largest store in the Southwest selling string instruments, repair and supplies will be on site to serve the needs of Institute participants. Services include: bow re-hairing, strings, bridges, fingerboard dressing as well as instrument rental. Robertson’s is offering rental instruments for the week to cello students who wish to avoid travel challenges.

2001 marks our Tenth Anniversary, and Jane Soyka, designer of all the past nine years T-shirts, will create a special commemorative design for the T-shirts and Tote Bags for this year’s New Mexico Suzuki Institute. Order yours through the Payment Form with your registration. No orders will be taken after June 15. Some of these items may be available for sale at the Institute, while supply lasts. We advise you to purchase merchandise now, as we cannot guarantee we will have all sizes and numbers when you arrive if you haven’t purchased in advance.
UNM Campus & Recreation
Founded in 1889, the University of New Mexico now occupies 600 acres along old Route 66 in the Heart of Albuquerque. Offering a distinctive campus environment with a Pueblo Revival architectural theme, the campus echoes the buildings of nearby Pueblo Indian villages. The nationally recognized Campus Arboretum and the popular Duck Pond offer outstanding botanical experiences in the midst of one of New Mexico’s great public open spaces.
